GRSP Campaign Kick-offWe'll hear from GRSP Student Helena Komrzyova at our meeting on Thursday, Oct. 23. She's had a few weeks to get settled at her host home with Mary Beth Donalson and at Valdosta State University. She'll give us a presentation telling us about herself, her home country, and what she hopes to learn this year during her studies in the United States. Additionally, club members will receive their current GRSP Foundation giving-status as we kick off our annual giving campaign. Later that day, Debbie Goodman will host a GRSP reception at her home at 116 N. Dawson St. from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. RSVP here or contact Angela Williamson. Save the Date
Rotary Leadership InstituteRotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 10 at Southern Regional Technical College. All Rotarians are required to complete Part 1, but members are encouraged to attend their appropriate session. RLI is designed to assist in improving Rotary knowledge and leadership skills of future leaders of our Rotary clubs and is offered at three levels over one-day workshops. More information to come.
