Annual Club AwardsOn Thursday, June 5, we will celebrate club members of the year during our annual awards program. Please be a part of the celebration. 
Thursday, June 5
Wine or WhineJoin us for Wine or Whine on Thursday, June 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Mom & Dad's Italian Restaurant, 1800 Smith Ave., in the bar. We will celebrate our club members who won awards at Thursday's meeting. The bar will be a cash bar; please call the restaurant for reservations if you would like to eat dinner at Mom & Dad's. If you have questions or plan to bring a potential new member, please contact Angela Williamson or Arthur Wigfall.

Board CelebrationMarta Jones-Turner will host a board celebration at her home at Gentian Creek Preserve on Monday, June 9 at 5:30 p.m. 
Spouses or partners are invited. Please RSVP to Marta at (229) 221-0958 ASAP. Monday, June 16
Board Transition SessionAll current and/or upcoming board members should attend a special joint board meeting from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 16 at the Chamber of Commerce. This is an important session as we transition from Marta's presidency to Nate's. If you are a current member of the board or will become one under Nate's presidency, please attend.

- Thursday, June 5: Club members of the year will be honored during the annual awards program.
- Thursday, June 5: Wine or Whine at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the bar at Mom & Dad's (cash bar). If you'd like to have dinner, please call for reservations.
- Monday, June 9: This month's board meeting will be a celebration of the board and the accomplishments of the year, at Marta and Jerry's home at Gentian Creek at 5:30 p.m. Board members' spouses/partners are invited. Please RSVP today to Marta: (229) 221-0958.
- Thursday, June 12: Copper Comita will bring a timely program about avoiding heat stroke and Debbie Goodman will present Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) awards.
- Thursday, June 12: The blood mobile will be on-hand at Vashti for those who would like to give blood.
- Monday, June 16: There will be a special joint board meeting from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the chamber as board members transition from Marta's presidency to Nate's. If you are a current member of the board or will become one under Nate's presidency, please attend this important session.
- Wednesday, June 18, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.: Coffee Chat at Grassroots Coffee. Fellowship with fellow Rotarians – no agenda, no program, just an opportunity to fellowship over coffee before you start your workday.
- Thursday, June 19: Pack and Sort at Second Harvest, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
- Saturday, June 21: Produce distribution at Weston Park begins at 7:30 a.m.
- Thursday, June 26: Enjoy a recap of the Rotary year and induction of president-elect Nate Tyler.
